TRAINING AND PLAYFUL GAME “RIESGOLANDIA” – CHIQUIAN ANCASH

The Provincial Municipality of Bolognesi, in collaboration with RAPID LA, recently organized a training and playful game called “RIESGOLANDIA” to educate the community about the risks of natural disasters and preventive measures for environmental care.

The event was carried out using the APELL Program (Awareness and Preparation for Emergencies at Local Level), an internationally recognized methodology for risk management. During the training, the main risks facing the community will be presented, such as earthquakes, floods, landslides and droughts, and preventive measures will be discussed to minimize the impact of these events.

The playful game “RIESGOLANDIA” was designed to teach interactively about the risks of natural disasters and how to take preventive measures to reduce the impact if they occur. Participants could learn about the importance of having an emergency plan, identifying evacuation points in their community, and how to deal with emergency situations.

Furthermore, the topic of environmental care was addressed and discussed how human activity can contribute to the emergence of natural disasters and how we can work together to reduce our impact on the environment and prevent disasters. The event was a resounding success, with great assistance and participation from the local community.

The Provincial Municipality of Bolognesi and RAPID LA hope to continue with this educational initiative in the future, as they believe that education about disaster prevention is essential for the safety and well-being of the community. Source: Facebook Municipalidad Provincial de Bolognesi
