APELL WORKSHOP FOR STUDENTS IN LA OROYA

During the talk, students had the opportunity to learn the basic concepts of the APELL Program (Awareness and Preparedness for Local Emergencies), an initiative promoted by RAPID LA to improve the capacity of local communities to prevent, prepare and respond to situations. of emergency.

Students learned about the risks and dangers in their community and how they can develop emergency plans and learn to respond effectively to emergency situations. Important topics such as the importance of effective communication and collaboration between community members during an emergency were also discussed.
